"Memories on Mercer Street"

For this mural, celebrating the commerce and spirit of downtown Mercer Street in Princeton, WV, Ellen was commissioned by Lori McKinney and the RiffRaff Collective to design the mural and provide guidance to Princeton community artists in the painting and installation of the fabric-based mural. The lead painters of the project were Lacey Vilandry. Richard Shrewsbury, Rita Montrosse, and Renee Wienecke. The artists worked with other community volunteers to paint the mural on fabric during the summer of 2021 and the completed work was installed on an outdoor wall at 200 Mercer Street in September of 2021.
